Architecture school admissions

French architecture schools are very selective because they have a very limited reception capacity. The admissions committee assesses the academic record, knowledge of French, motivation, plan for further studies, demonstration of acquired knowledge and / or capacity in architecture (quality projects, personal drawings, etc.).
After a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, an architecture admission school is open to all profiles and is performed by a specific procedure to each school or with CampusArt online application.

European diplomas are recognized by Directive 2005/36 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 7, 2005. This directive sets up a system for the recognition of professional qualifications in the European Union (EU) which also extends, under certain conditions, to other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) as well as to Switzerland.
Diplomas from a few countries outside the European Union are also recognized in France, in particular through bilateral agreements.
